Life This Past Week....

Last weekend started off rough. Hailee woke up on Sat. March 28th with a 103.5 degree fever! What the heck?!? The night before she was as healthy as could be, and then bam! Wakes up sick! Poor girl! That morning she also threw up a couple of times! We spent Saturday through Wednesday hanging out at the house, snuggling, watching Dr. Seuss movies (her all time favorite!) and resting! By Wednesday night her fever finally broke! We were so excited that she was feeling better! We love her so much and it is always so hard to see her when she doesn't feel good!


On Friday, April 3rd, we decided to hit Disneyland. We had alot of fun! Especially Hailee! Disneyland wasn't too crowded which was nice so we pretty much walked onto the rides we wanted to hit that morning. We went on the Nemo submarine ride for the first time, which Hailee liked at first but as soon as it got pitch black inside, she started crying! After the ride was over, we went on her favorite ride, It's A Small World! The whole time she bounced around on my lap and smiled and laughed! We had such a great day together as a family!

Saturday, April 4th Gregg took off with my Dad, Kipper and Larry to explore mines out in the desert. It def. looked like they had a blast!

Today has been such a great day! Well, every day is great, but some days are just so perfect and happy! First off, one thing that starts my day off happy is going into Hailee's room and seeing this smile! This morning she decided that she was also done being in her pj's! I had no clue she knew how to undress herself! Guess she does!
After we all woke up, (around 9:30 am) we rushed over to our friends house for breakfast and conference! Conference is always so uplifting! Hailee and Deacon were also so cute together!
After we got home, Hailee took a 3 hour nap and we relaxed, took naps and then got ready for our family Easter pictures! My Mom and Dad took some great pictures for us! It was alot of fun! After the pictures, we let Hailee play on the toys for a while. It was such a beautiful day!
Once we got home and had dinner, Gregg left for work and it was just Mommy and Hailee time! I LOVE the time we get to spend with just the two of us! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE when we are all together, but our alone time is so special! Tonight Hailee and I made brownies and she was such a good helper! She helped me mix the ingredients, poor it into the pan, and even helped me eat some of the brownie mix out of the bowl! She is just too cute!

Life is so great and I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family that I love so much!

Run Way Walk.....Grandpa Style!

Oh my gosh...Hailee is seriously the funniest little girl EVER!!! She has so much personality and she LOVES being the center of attention! Tonight she was walking around with her purse being all girly like usual, so my Dad decided to show her how to do the "runway" walk. LOL...First off...don't ask me HOW my Dad knows the walk...but he does! This is Hailee's own twist of his runway walk! She was doing this for over half an hour! We were busting up laughing which made her do it over and over and OVER!!! She thought it was pretty funny too!

Summertime Weather!

This past week we have had amazing weather! It has been in the 80's and 90's! Pretty hot considering it is only MARCH! But we have enjoyed every moment of the nice weather! We have had park, swim, Disneyland and get together days with friends all week!
Hailee has a best friend named Deacon. They are always together and have so much fun! Shannon (Deek's Mom) and I really hope that they will be best friends all of their life!
On Thursday, 3/1, Deacon and Shannon came over to go swimming. We set up the smaller pool for the kids because the "big" pool water is still too cold!

On Friday, 3/ 20, Gregg, Hailee and I went to Disneyland! We knew it would be extremely crowded, but we didn't care! It has been months since we have gone! So, off we went on a Friday afternoon to the happiest place on Earth!
Once we got there, we headed over to California Adventures and found a new little play ground area for Hailee. It's amazing how many new things we are always finding!


The only ride we ended up going on was "It's A Small World!" It was so cute! Hailee absolutely LOVED it!
Before we left, we fed the ducks! Hailee has such a fascination with ducks, birds, planes, pretty much anything that flies in the sky!
On Sat. we went out with the Moyer's. Hailee is always so cute with Deacon. She loves to take care of him. She trie to feed him, give him drinks, etc. I think she thinks he is a life size doll to play with! lol.

Lastly, I thought these pictures were funny! Hailee had some candy and was so HYPER! She was running around like CRAZY!

So who's in?

Uncle Ricky is in town!

This past week my brother, "Uncle Ricky" came to visit the family! He is seriously the sweetest kid I know! We wish that BYU-I was here locally so we could see him all of the time! It was so much fun having him back home though! This was his only chance he had to come for a week from now until July! We are so happy he was able to come!

On Saturday we went hiking with Rick, Kip and Sarah! (Oh, and Echo too!) We went out in Elsinore on an AWESOME hike! (Literally only 2 min. away from Kippers!) It was alot of fun and I can't wait to do it again!
After the hike, Gregg (He was at a fire test during the hike) and my parents met up with us at their house for dinner and hang out!

Hailee LOVES Echo! She kept teasing him and everytime he would run over to her she would start laughing so much and would hide in Gregg's arms! As soon as Echo would leave, Hailee would start clapping her hands for him to come back! This game went on forever!

We are so blessed to have such an awesome family and ones that are SO MUCH FUN! We love them so much!

Off - Roading

This weekend (3/6/09 - 3/9/09) we met Gregg's parents in Vegas for the weekend! We were a little nervous going on a long road trip with Hailee...it has been a long time since we have traveled by car with her...but she did great! She is such a good traveler! We watched movies, listened to her music, played with toys and even took a nap!
Once in Vegas, we stayed at our favorite place...The Cliffs at Peace Canyon! It was a 2 bedroom condo with all the amenities, and also a GREAT gym which I spent some time in on Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon we went and hiked our favorite place....Red Rock Canyon! It was alot of fun and we can't wait to go back and do it again!

The Hike:
For about the first 15 minutes I had to carry Hailee. Then she finally agreed to go in the hiking backpack!

Grandma Hardy gave Hailee a pair of sunglasses and she loved them! She kept making Gregg wear them too! It was so cute!

Our room had a walk in closet....which we turned into Hailee's room! The first night she slept GREAT!
The second night was not so great.... it was a looooong night! But she finally got comfy in her Daddy's arms!
The drive home went very well too. We left a little before nap time hoping she would fall asleep....
And once she got comfy......she fell asleep!
We had a great time and it was so nice to get away for the weekend!

Today, 3/10/09, Hailee started the day off with breakfast with Daddy....
Then off-roading she went with her dolly!

Then...what?!? Mommy's turn to take Hailee and Dolly off-roading and down the street!
Such fun times with this little girl of ours!
