Swim Day

This afternoon we had a "Mommy and Baby" swim party! Jessica, Riley, Jenn and Ashton came over! It was alot of fun! Hailee is 6 1/2 months, Riley is 7 1/2 months and Ashton is 2 1/2 months...so they are all very close in age which makes it so much fun!

Wow....we have been busy!

These past couple of weeks have been so BUSY! Gregg has been working a lot, and when he isn't at work, he has been studying alot. They sure do know how to make the "rookie" year hard! But he is doing great and we are so proud of him and love him so much!

While Gregg has been busy with work, my Mom and I have been busy opening the "Fire House Fitness Personal Training Studio"! It has been so much fun and now we are able to train all of our clients in it! We love it and so do they!

Lastly, my Mom and I have been training for our 1st marathon! This past Sunday, June 1st, We ran the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon! I couldn't say this at the time, but now that it's over, it was fun! During the race, it was HARD! I honestly didn't think it would be hard because our training runs weren't' that bad, and our longest run was 24 miles! But, Whatever! I have to say that we did do an awesome job, considering that we ended up running 27.55 miles (From having to weave in and out of everyone to pass them). I definitely want to do another one now!
We stayed the night before down in San Diego. We had so much fun! On Sunday morning we had to be up by 4:15 and on the shuttle by 5am, and we knew it would be cold so we went to Target and both bought the most hideous big shirts we could find to keep up warm! But hey, they were only $3.00 each, and once we warmed up during the race, we threw them to the side of the road!

K, so every mile they had bands playing and cheer leaders! We thought these cheerleaders were the best! Those guys sure do have guts to be prancing around in lil mini skirts! And.......we made it to the finish line! Yeah!

This was definitely such an awesome experience, to be able to run my first marathon with my Mom! Thanks Mom! You're the greatest!

6 Months of Pure JOY!

I can't believe our lil knucklehead is 6 months old TODAY! Time sure does fly by fast once you have a baby! These 6 months has been AMAZING! We love her so much! Here are a few things that she has accomplished this past month....

1. She sits up very very well

2. She is trying to learn to crawl

3. She laughs ALL the time (And she has us laughing all of the time)

4. She is started to say "Mu Mu" but I don't think she knows what that really means

5. When she is hungry, she starts going "mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm" to let us know

6. When she wants to be picked up, she reaches her arms out

7. She loves her baby food

8. She rolls over all the time

9. She puts her arms out if she wants to go to you

10. She is learning how to use her walker

11. She is learning how to "fix" all of her toys LOL

12. She plays her piano with her toes now too!

13. She loves to dance and shake her booty!

14. She absolutely LOVES music!

Such a lil' character....

So today I was playing with Hailee and she had me cracking up so much! She seriously has SO MUCH personality! It's so funny because once you get her going...she will keep you laughing FOREVER! She gets so hyper and worked up that she can't even sit still! She is the funniest girl with the most personality ever! She definitely will always have everyone around her crackin up!

Mother's Day Fun!

Being a mom is the most amazing thing that I have ever experienced. I don't even know how to describe it other than breath taking. I am so blessed to have such a beautiful, sweet, loving perfect daughter. I look at her every day and am blown away by how much I am blessed to have her as my daughter. She is already my best friend and such a great example to me. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful Mother too! She is my best friend and my role model. I sure hope I can be just as good of a Mom as she is! I love her so much and am so thankful that we are living with them right now. She is also the #1 bestest Grandma ever! Hailee adores her and has so much fun with her! I love you Mom!

As a tradition, every holiday we go on some sort of adventure hike/run! So of course we fulfilled that tradition again yesterday. It was sooo much fun! We went up to the mountains and went on an awesome 7 mile hike! Hailee also went and did AWESOME! She stayed happy in her stroller, even when they had to carry it up steep, rocky trails, across a suspension bridge, up a huge flight of stairs to an anciently old cabin place and through a river! She is definitely already an outdoors girl! We had so much fun!

A Day at the Park

Last week we took Hailee to the park for the first time! It was so much fun and she absolutely LOVED it!!! -Especially the slides! Looks like we will be spending alot more of our afternoons there!
