On Monday Feb. 15th, we went down to the Santa Rosa Plataea to go for a family hike! It has become one of our favorite places to go! We hiked to the adobe homes again and had a great time! Hailee is our little amazing little hiker! On the way to the homes, she hiked a solid mile then took a break in the stroller for about fifteen minutes and then hiked another half of a mile on her own! On the way back she wanted to "walk" again, so she lasted about 3/4 of a mile before she was finally tuckered out and fell asleep in the stroller. She seriously has so much energy! I never imagined that a two year old could LOVE hiking so much! The entire time she was either talking, laughing or singing as she hiked! Another awesome thing was that on the way back we had passed another family whose 8 year old daughter (we heard them say her age) was sprawled out on the trail refusing to go any further. (And they had at least 2 miles left to go still!) And here comes Hailee skipping by as happy as can be! The Mom of the other child told her daughter "Look....a 2 year old can do this hike...and you can't? That's pretty pathetic of you!" (She seemed like she was kind of a mean Mom from the other things she was saying) But we were so proud of our little Hailee. We were thinking, "Yep! Our girl is awesome!"
We had such a great day and can't wait to go back again!

Then once we got home, Gregg decided to wash the Tahoe and Hailee enjoyed helping!!! However, she did get bored of washing my car so she started putting the soap of Gregg's car! He ended up having to wash both vehicles!
