On Tuesday, Hailee and I are flying to CA. I am a little nervous because I have never had a baby with me on an airplane! I think it will be quite an experience, hopefully a good one! Have any of you guys taken your kids on a plane? Any advice, reccomendations of things to do or to bring with you? Did your babies cry the whole time? I hope Hailee doesn't! So, all of your advice will definately help me out! Thank you!

I have taken jackson on the plane quite a bit... he does really well. He was only 2 months for his 1st trip. But all i did was nurse him before we got on the plane, and made sure he had a binky as we took off and as we landed. Or you could feed her as you are taking off, and give her a binky while landing.
Good luck... I hope this helped.
Kayla has taken a lot of flights to CA, since she was 3 months old. I always brought her blankie, binkie and a bottle... so she can nap in my arms. They say to give them a little bit of Tylanol to 'calm' them, but that's up to you. I personally don't like giving not needed medicine. Don't forget some little toys to keep her entertained! Happy flying!
I have never taken my kids on a plane but I have heard that if you plan traveling around their nap times it makes it more relaxing. But I have heard most kids do well! She will probably be just fine.
it is not that long of a flight so you should be good. They say to make her suck something as taking off and landing. And if she is fussy, don't worry i flew to mexico with a fussy baby on the flight and it was fine. You can get up and walk around if needed. I am so excited your coming though! When does gregg start officially? Will you guys be around thurs night? it's my b-day and i think we are going to have people over or do dinner. If not then maybe a late lunch with my girlfriends, cause i work until 1pm that day. Talk to you soon!
If she has any favorites be sure to pack them in your carry on... and be sure to bring plenty of diapers (a few more than you think you'll need) and a change of clothes. Like others have said, make sure she is sucking on something when you land and take off. I traveled with both my babies when they were only a few weeks old. Traveling with a little baby like Hailee is MUCH easier than a toddler! Good luck!
Make sure you are aware of what you can carry on to the plane. I was in line and this guy had to dump out all the baby bottles and treats...

Seems like you have been told just about everything I would know how to do. Make sure she sucks on something at take off and landing. Try not to have to much to carry on otherwise you feel like it is hard to hold everything and a baby. Just diapers wipes food a toy a pacifier. One thing extra clothes. Once Jordyn pooped on the plane ( she was like one so way old enough for me not to carry extra clothes.) She pooped everywhere. All over her clothes. She had to sit in her diaper until our layoever then i had to buy her expensive airport clothes. You never know what can happen.
Kami has been on a ton of plane rides, and I've never had any issues except a few blowouts on the plane. At 3 months old you should be fine. Just make sure to 1 - bring her binky
2 - bring her blanky
3 - changer her diaper RIGHT before getting on the plane
4 - Bring at least one change of clothes
She will do great! Good luck!
