Gregg's Graduation

Today was such an awesome day! Gregg graduated from his "new hire" academy! We are so excited that these six weeks of grueling, hard, stressful, tiring, exhausting, sweaty, stinky, sitting in a little classroom studying, tons of hose pulls, climbing ladders, hiking hills in the blazing hot sun, tearing cars apart, and putting out fires are OVER!!!! (well, not really, now they will be actual calls and not simulated calls done in the academy training) Gregg did a great job and we are excited that he is on "B" shift with Anaheim Fire Dept! This is going to be a tough/not so much fun year for Gregg since he is a "Rookie" but it will be so worth it! We are so proud of him and he is such a great example at how hard work pays off!
We love you!
Also, thank you so much Mom, Dad Kipper and Sarah for coming today and for all of your love and support. We really appreciate it and love you guys! Thank you also to Cathy and Steve for all of your help and support through this process. We really appreciate it and love you guys too!

Hailee's 5 Months!

Wow, I never thought this day would come....our baby is 5 MONTHS OLD! Time sure does fly by fast! It's sad but at the same time it is so exciting, especially to see your daughter grow and develop so much. Hailee is such a funny girl! She has so much personality and can get us laughing so hard! We can't even imagine how much she will have us laughing when she can talk!
Hailee has accomplished alot this month. Here are a few things that she has learned:
1) She now eats baby Gerber #1 foods and LOVES it!
2) She laughs alot
3) She finally rolled over for the first time a few days ago
4) She went swimming for the first time (Now shes up to about a dozen times)
5) She can sit up all by herself for long periods of time and plays with her toys

We are so proud of Hailee and she is such a joy and blessing in our life! We love her so much!
Below are pictures of how Hailee spent her 5month birthday!

Family Pictures!

A couple of weeks ago we had our family piuctures taken (By Rachel Kirk Photography) It was so much! We have never laughed so hard in a photo shoot! It was awesome, especially because she was able to capture our personalities! There were so many to choose from, so I ended up just posting a bunch for everyone to see!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Hailee, my Mom and I decided that we needed a quick get-away trip this past week. We packed up our bags and hit the road to go visit my Grandparents in Arizona at their winter home. They live in a retired community on the golf course! They have everything there that you can imagine doing- golfing, swimming, tennis, hiking, crafts, etc. etc. etc. You could honestly NEVER get bored living there! We spent our time running, at the Grandparents house, driving around on the golf carts and at the pool. When we were at the pool, it started off as a fun time. Hailee was absolutely LOVING the water! It was her first time in the water (besides bath time) and she couldn't stop smiling.....until this old, crotchety, UGLY, MEAN old man came and started YELLING at us telling us we can't have a baby in the pool! We didn't want to cause a big scene, so we apologized and told him we would take her out, but he wouldn't stop YELLING at us! He was just so mean! My mom took Hailee out of the pool, and I stayed in at then I started to cry because I have NEVER had anyone yell at me and my daughter before! The other ladies that were in the pool started chewing this man out telling him what a mean man he is and that he has no friends and that his own kids probably don't even like him because he is so ugly! It was awesome seeing them chew him out! He ended up leaving and we felt better! Now my Grandpa is out to find him to have some words with him!
Other than that, we had a great time! It was so nice to get away on a quick little vacation!

Where on EARTH is Gregg?!?!

For the past three and a half weeks, Gregg has been M.I.A. He has been hired on with the Anaheim Fire Department and right now he is in their seven week "new hire fire/paramedic academy". He is gone Sunday night through Friday night. He stays the night out in Anaheim because of the TREMENDOUS LONG hours they put in each day. He is doing such an AWESOME job and we are so proud of him! I do apologize to all of you for not being the greatest friend right now with keeping plans and hanging out. I have been so wiped out! It is definitely so hard not having Gregg home....but we know he is doing what he needs to do and he is definitely working so hard for us. We love him soooo much and can't wait for this academy to get over because we miss him so much! Once he gets out, I promise to all of you that we will be better at hanging out! =)

Keep up the great work Gregg and "Daddy!" We are so proud of you! We LOVE you!

3 Generations of Love

Our friend Rachel Kirk had my Mom, Hailee and I be models for her "Mother's Day Special" photo shoot that she is doing. It was so much fun! She had us do the "Three Generations". Hailee did such a great job! We took pictures for at least an hour and Hailee was so good and happy the ENTIRE time! Thank you Rachel for all of these pictures! We LOVE them!
